Massachusetts Men's Track & Field Concludes Black & Gold Invitational And UConn Dog Fight

AMHERST, Mass.- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team closed out their busy weekend on Saturday. Joseph Duggan led the Minutemen at the Black and Gold Invitational with a win in the discus while Joachim Ennoo placed sixth in the triple jump as the lone UMass competitor at the UConn Dog Fight.

ÂBlack and Gold Invitational
- Joseph Duggan won the discus with a throw of 166' 8".
- Alec Pascoe cracked the top eight in the 110m hurdles, coming in fifth with a time of 15.60.
- In the 1500m Matthew George was the top UMass runner, coming in seventh with a time of 4:00.00.Â
- Right Behind George was Nicholas Calitri who finished eighth with a time of 4:00.04.
- Freshman Emmanuel Simon had a podium finish in the triple jump with a mark of 42' 0.5".
UConn Dog Fight
- Joachim Ennoo placed sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 46' 6.75".
