Six Divers Head To NCAA Zone A Diving Championships

Bell, Guerin, Howes, Kreidler, Sinha and Yaremyn will participate in the two-day event.
AMHERST, Mass. – Six members of the Massachusetts diving team are set to compete in the 2025 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships, hosted by Rutgers, on Monday, March 10, through Tuesday, March 11, in Piscataway, New Jersey at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center.
Juniors Andrew Bell, Salem Howes and Shreeya Sinha, and freshmen Danielle Guerin, Alex Kreidler and Khrystyna Yaremyn will be competing at the two-day event.
The Minutewomen will also compete in the team event on Sunday, March 9.
2025 Atlantic 10 Championship Diving Recap
The Massachusetts diving team collected two medals at this year's Atlantic 10 Championships meet. Bell collected the gold in the one-meter (359.80) and in the three-meter (428.15). Yaremyn earned bronze in the three-meter dive (281.85). Additionally, Kreidler placed 10th in the one-meter (246.00) and seventh in the three-meter (293.65).
Atlantic 10's Most Outstanding
Bell was named the A-10 Men's Most Outstanding Diver of the Year, earning the honor for the third straight year. Diving coach Missy Bernosky also earned back-to-back honors, being named A-10 Men's Diving Coach of the Year for the second straight season.
Returning to Zones
Bell and Sinha return to the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. This will be Bell's third straight appearance and Sinha's second. Bell competed in both events, finishing the one-meter dive with a score of 664.80 and took fifth place in the three- meter (730.80) and went on to compete at the NCAA Championships. Sinha completed the one-meter and finished in 65th place with a score of 192.75.
New Faces at Zones
Four members of the UMass diving team are set to compete in their first appearances at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. Freshmen Yaremyn, Kreidler, and Guerin will be competing in their first collegiate seasons, and Howes will be competing as well.
What's at Stake
Bell, Guerin, Howes, Kreidler, Sinha, and Yaremyn are fighting for spots in the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. The men's and women's championships are being hosted by Washington State University and will be held in Federal Way, Washington at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center. The women will compete on Wednesday, March 19 through Saturday, March 22, while the men will compete Wednesday, March 26 through Saturday, March 29. Bell and Kreidler will be competing in the men's one- and three-meter dives. Sinha and Yaremyn are set to compete in the women's one- and three-meter dives, while Guerin and Howes will be competing in the women's one-meter.
