Women's Cross Country Sees Action At Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, PA.ย โ Junior Rylee Davis paced the University of Massachusetts women's cross country team at today's Paul Short Run in a highly competitive field. The Minutewomen,ย facing some of the strongest competition from around the nation, placed 23rd with a score of 678 out of 40 schools.

THE UMASS WOMEN'S TOP-FIVE
-ย Davis was the first to cross for UMass inย 81st place in the 6K with a time of 21:09.4ย ย
-ย Junior Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio followed, taking 87th in a field of 352 competitors with a time of 21:12.6
-ย Sophomore Agnes Thundal claimed 174th place (21:45.0), third for the Minutewomen.
-ย Junior Ella Bosselman finished 178th with a time of 21:45.7 as UMass No. 4 scorer.ย
-ย Junior Anna Todd completed the UMass top-5ย ย in 179th overall (21:53.4).

The Minutewomen will return to action at the New England Championships at Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H., on October 10. Races are slated to begin at 2:00ย p.m.
