November 21, 2014 | General

Nov. 21, 2014 The UMass Department of Athletics and the Minutemen Club are proud to announce a "21 Days of Thanks" campaign beginning Sunday, November 23. UMass Athletics' 2,500+ annual donors who make up the Minutemen Club will receive a variety of Thank You's throughout the ensuing 21 days.

Contributions and private gifts to the Minutemen Club are used to fund scholarships, leadership opportunities, and program support for all UMass student-athletes who make up the department's 21 athletics programs.

"21 Days of Thanks is a department-wide effort to go above and beyond to thank our generous donors," said Director of Athletics John McCutcheon. "Representing each of our 21 sports over the course of 21 days is very important for us since we care deeply about the entire UMass Athletics community and its unwavering support."

In 2013-14, UMass Athletics had a combined 2,825 donors who gave to the Minutemen Club.

"As our programs continue to compete on the national level, donor support is more critical now than it has ever been. We truly appreciate the commitment and generosity of our supporters," said McCutcheon.
