Charleston Southern Tops Tennis, 6-1, In South Carolina

Charleston, S.C. - The UMass women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss to Charleston Southern Monday afternoon in South Carolina. The Minutewomen had a number of close matches but in the end they were not able to close out with a win. Junior-captain Julia Comas recorded the lone victory for the squad from No. 4 singles with a 7-6, 6-2 decision over Marija Dzakovic. UMass now falls to 7-6 with the loss.
The Minutewomen will now play Charlotte, today at 10:00 a.m. as the squad looks to get back in the win column.
