Four Members Set To Represent Massachusetts Tennis At 2025 MAC Individual Championships

Ella Faessler, Amanda de Oliveira, Amelia Tye and Martina Pavissich will compete in the three-day event, starting Friday.
AMHERST, Mass. – Four members of the University of Massachusetts tennis team prepare for the 2025 Mid-American Conference Individual Championships, hosted by Western Michigan, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Friday, October 3, through Sunday, October 5.
Senior Ella Faessler, juniors Amanda de Oliveira and Amelia Tye, and sophomore Martina Pavissich will compete in the three-day event. Faessler and Tye will take part in both singles and doubles competition, while de Oliveira and Pavissich will pair up for doubles play.
On Friday, doubles competition begins at 9 a.m. with Round One of the Main Draw, which consists of matches one through 10. Singles competition follows at 1 p.m. with Round One, matches one through 10.
Doubles play starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the Main Draw Quarterfinals, consisting of matches 11-14, Consolation matches one through five, and the Main Draw Semifinals matches 15-16. Singles competition will begin at 1 p.m. with the Main Draw Quarterfinals, consisting of Matches 11-14 and the Consolation matches one through five.
The final day of the MAC Individual Championships starts with the Singles Main Draw Semifinals matches of 15 and 16, followed by the Doubles Championship match at either 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. The day will end with the Singles Championship match at either 1 p.m. or 2:30 p.m.
Players from nine MAC schools will partake in the tournament. Along with Massachusetts, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Toledo and Western Michigan.
