Tennis Defeats Charlotte, 4-0 In Fifth Place Match

CHARLOTTESVILLE,Va. - On Sunday, #7 UMass defeated #6 Charlotte, 4-0, at the Boar's Head Inn. UMass tennis took the doubles point and the number two, four, and five singles to grab the fifth spot in the Atlantic-10 season finale. Coach Dixon shuffled up the lineup card a bit for the last match of the season adding Jocelyn Provience and Tanisha Hodgson in the number five and singles, with Providence winning her match and Hodgson leading her match but didn't finish because UMass already won the match by then.
