Women's Basketball Reveals 2025-26 Slate

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts women's basketball program has officially released its full 2025-26 schedule; Head Coach Mike Leflar announced on Thursday. Tipoff times and television windows will be revealed at a later date and are subject to change.

UMass is set to face off against 11 teams as part of its 2025-26 non-conference schedule. The program will host Assumption in an exhibition on Monday, Oct. 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mullins Center prior to commencing the regular season slate. Massachusetts officially kicks off its first season as a member of the Mid-American Conference on Monday, Nov. 3, as they travel to Old Dominion for game one of the MAC-SBC Challenge. The Minutewomen will complete the two-game series on Saturday, Feb. 7 against a Sun Belt opponent to be named later using NET data.
 
The Minutewomen will challenge five in-state foes, hosting Harvard (Nov. 11), UMass Lowell (Nov. 18), and Boston College (Nov. 22) at the Mullins Center. Massachusetts will visit Holy Cross (Nov. 25) and Northeastern (Dec. 3) to conclude the five-game local slate.
 
The Maroon and White open its home slate on Saturday, Nov. 8, hosting Siena to commence a four-game homestand. UMass concludes its non-conference road schedule on Dec. 6, traveling to West Point, N.Y. for a weekend bout with Army.
 
Massachusetts will compete in a neutral site tournament hosted by FIU on Dec.19-20, traveling to Westchester, Fla.
 
UMass opens conference play at home in their inaugural season as a MAC member on Wednesday, Dec. 30 as they welcome Western Michigan to the Mullins Center. UMass is set to host seven additional conference foes, including Central Michigan (Jan. 10), Akron (Jan. 14), Bowling Green (Jan. 24), Eastern Michigan (Feb. 4), Miami Ohio (Feb. 14), Toledo (Feb. 18), Kent State (Feb. 25), and Buffalo (Mar. 7).
 
The Minutewomen's road draws features trips to Kent State (Jan. 3), Miami Ohio (Jan. 7), Buffalo (Jan. 17), Ball State (Jan. 21), Ohio (Jan. 28), Northern Illinois (Feb. 10), Central Michigan (Feb. 21), Western Michigan (Feb. 28), and Akron (Mar. 4).
 
The 2026 MAC Women's Basketball Championship will take place in conjunction with the 2026 MAC Men's Basketball Championship on March 11-14 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
 
Massachusetts women's basketball season tickets are now on sale.
