Men's Basketball Unveils 2025-26 Conference Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's basketball program has officially released its full 2025-26 schedule; Head Coach Frank Martin announced on Thursday. Tipoff times and television windows will be revealed at a later date and are subject to change.
The Minutemen open their inaugural season as a member of the Mid-American Conference at home, welcoming Kent State to the Mullins Center on Dec. 20. UMass is set to host eight additional conference foes during the 25-26 season: facing off against Bowling Green (Jan. 3), Ball State (Jan. 10), Toledo (Jan. 20), Eastern Michigan (Jan. 31), Central Michigan (Feb. 3), Miami Ohio (Feb. 17), Buffalo (Feb. 21), and Ohio (Mar. 3).
Out of these draws, the Minutemen will compete in home-and-home series with Eastern Michigan (Dec. 30), Ohio (Jan. 6), Buffalo (Jan. 24), Miami Ohio (Jan. 27), Ball State (Feb. 21), and Bowling Green (Feb. 28).
The Massachusetts road slate includes solo trips to Western Michigan (Jan. 13), Northern Illinois (Jan. 17), and Akron (Feb. 14).
The 2026 MAC Men's Basketball Championship will take place in conjunction with the 2026 MAC Women's Basketball Championship on March 11-14 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
