Bell Earns Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team Honors

Andrew Bell receives the accolade for the second straight year.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Junior Andrew Bell of the University of Massachusetts men's swimming and diving team was selected to the 2024-25 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Tuesday. It marks the second straight year Bell has received the honor.
Bell, a South Windsor, Connecticut, native, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences and Mathematics. He placed first in 18 diving events across both the one-meter and three-meter, including breaking two previous pool records at the Justin Jennings Invitational from 1987 and 1994. During the A-10 Championships, the junior picked up two gold medals in both the one-meter and three-meter dive, breaking an A-10 Championship meet record in the three-meter dive with a six-dive total of 428.15. Bell earned A-10 Performer of the Week four times this season, leading to being named the league's Men's Diver of the Year in back-to-back seasons.
Bell will compete at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships, taking place Monday, March 10 through Wednesday, March 12, in Piscataway, New Jersey, at Sonny Werblin Recreation Center.
