Massachusetts Rowing Opens Season At Sarasota 2K

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts rowing team opens the 2025 season this weekend at the Sarasota 2K at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.

Massachusetts will compete in the neutral site event, vying against a mix of competitive schools including Yale, Northeastern, Harvard and North Carolina.

Friday's time trials are set to begin at 4:30 p.m. with heats of Varsity 4 boats, followed by the second Varsity 8 (5 p.m.) and the Varsity 8 (5:50 p.m.).

Saturday morning's finals then begin at 9:40 a.m., with the day concluding with an awards ceremony at 12:25 p.m.
