Massachusetts Men’s Cross Country Lands Four On A-10 All-Academic Team

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts men's cross country has placed four individuals on the Atlantic 10 Men's All-Academic Team, the league announced on Thursday. Graduate student Bobby Carew, sophomore Collin Catherwood, graduate student Michael Norberg and Liam Ouellette make of four of the six members on the squad.
All four student-athletes finished in the top-15 overall at the Atlantic 10 Championships to earn All-Atlantic 10 recognition and factored in the scoring to help the Minutemen win their third Atlantic 10 title in program history and the first since 2008.
Carew, an MBA student, led UMass in second overall at the A-10 meet. Catherwood, a mechanical engineering major, was next to finish for the Minutemen in fifth overall. Steps behind Catherwood, Norberg, an MBA student, claimed sixth. Ouellette, an environmental science major, was UMass' No. 5 finisher in 14th overall.
