NEWARK, Del. -- Massachusetts (4-3-3, 0-1-0 Summit) fell short in its Summit League opener on Saturday night, dropping a 2-1 decision to Delaware (8-0-1, 1-0-0 Summit) on the road.
Matt Cence scored in back-to-back games, netting the sole Minutemen goal on the night.
