Minutewomen Cap Regular Season With Dominant 26-4 Win Over George Mason

AMHERST, Mass. -- Massachusetts women's lacrosse (13-3, 10-0 A-10) secured its 11th consecutive victory, defeating George Mason (7-10, 2-8) 26-4 on Saturday afternoon at Garber Field. With the win, the Minutewomen clinched their seventh consecutive season with an undefeated record in Atlantic 10 play. The offensive display marks the most goals scored by a Massachusetts team since defeating St. Bonaventure 27-2 on April 23, 2021.
The Minutewomen allowed their fewest goal total of season, ceding just one in each quarter of play. Massachusetts dominated in all facets, holding significant advantages in shots (40-9), shots on goal (34-5), draw controls (25-6) and caused turnovers (11-5).
The Patriots were led by Kate Anders who scored two goals on four shots.
