The sophomore skated in between the circles and lifted the puck over Regan's glove for the 2-1 score. At the end of two, shots were 25-16 New Hampshire.
Massachusetts opened up a two-goal lead at 15:25 of the third with a power play goal, tipped in front by Jarman for his second of the season. Freshman Justin Braun took the shot from the blueline and through traffic for the assist. P.J. Fenton was also credited with a helper on the goal.
The Wildcats made it interesting by pulling their goalie to close out the game and capitalized at 19:37 to make it 3-2, but UMass held on for their second win of the season. It also marked the first back-to-back wins at the Whittemore Center for the Minutemen.
Overall shots were 36-21 in favor of the home team. UMass was 1-for-5 on the power play and held UNH scoreless on all three man advantage opportunities. Jon Quick made 34 saves in his first "W" of the season.
