Parking Advisory for UMass Baseball Series vs. Fordham

AMHERST, Mass. – Fans attending the University of Massachusetts baseball team's Atlantic 10 series against Fordham from Fri., May 11 through Sun., May 13 are advised that the three-game set coincides with commencement exercises and other events taking place on the UMass campus. Those attending any of the weekend's contests are encouraged to allocate extra time in driving to the ballpark as traffic at UMass and across the town of Amherst will be heavy.

Additionally, parking in Lot 67 adjacent to Earl Lorden Field will be unavailable during the series. As an alternative, fans should park in the gravel lot located on Mullins Way across from the Central Heating Plant and directly west of the tennis courts.

On Friday, various road closures will be in place from approximately 2-7 p.m. with detours marked via signage. These road closures include:

North Pleasant Street, between Massachusetts Ave and the Governors Drive/Eastman Lane rotary
North University Drive, between Amity Street and Massachusetts Ave

Friday's doubleheader is scheduled for a noon start at Earl Lorden Field, while first pitch on Sunday will be at noon and follow Senior Day ceremonies at 11:45 a.m.
