Maroon vs. White Game Caps Football Spring Practice Friday Evening

McGuirk Alumni Stadium event is free and open to the public
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts football wraps up its spring practice schedule with the team's annual Maroon vs. White Game at McGuirk Alumni Stadium at 6 p.m. on Fri., April 13. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
The game will also be streamed via Facebook Live on the main UMass Athletics Facebook page with Andy Bukowski and Matt Goldstein calling the action.
The 2018 Maroon vs. White Game will again feature a set of guest coaches. Long-time ESPN anchor Chris Berman returns for the second consecutive year and while coach against UMass football alumnus Denis Gagnon (1969-71), who still ranks among the program's all-time leaders in eight individual season and career kicking records.
Prior to the game, UMass Athletics will host a free youth clinic on the field at McGuirk Alumni Stadium from 4 - 5 p.m. The non-contact football clinic is for children ages 5-13 and will include drills run by current members of the football program. Register for the clinic online here.
In addition to the youth clinic, prior to and during the game UMass Athletics will host a barbeque for football season ticket holders in the UMass Football Performance Center Hunt Room, beginning at 5 p.m.
Invitations to the barbeque for football season ticket holders were sent out during the week of March 19-23. To be eligible for an invitation, season ticket holder accounts must have renewed their football season tickets for the 2018 campaign. The barbeque is free of charge and will feature a cash bar. Guests in attendance will be able to view the football spring game from the Football Performance Center Terrace.
