Massachusetts Men’s Lacrosse Releases 2018 Competitive Slate

Minutemen host eight games at Garber Field, including five consecutive home contests
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse program and head coach Greg Cannella revealed the 2018 team schedule on Monday. The Minutemen host eight contests on Garber Field, with a five-game non-conference homestand spanning a 26-day stretch from Tues., Feb. 13 against Sacred Heart through Sat., March 10 versus NJIT.
Following scrimmages against Providence on Jan. 27 and at Siena on Feb. 3, Massachusetts opens the regular season at Army West Point on Sat., Feb. 10 before the squad returns to campus for the start of its five-game span. The five-game stretch at Garber Field also includes games against Harvard (Sat., Feb. 24), Yale (Tues., Feb. 27) and Albany (Tues., March 6).
Massachusetts hosts one additional non-conference home contest against Hartford on March 17 while a pair of CAA foes visit Western Massachusetts during CAA play in Towson (April 14) and Hofstra (April 27).
Following the tilt at Army, five more road games await the Minutemen in 2018, including stops at UMass Lowell (March 13) and Brown (March 24), and CAA trips to Drexel (March 31), Delaware (April 7) and Fairfield (April 21).
