Fenway Park Readies For Massachusetts Football’s Upcoming Clash With Maine

Fenway Park grounds crew transforms ballpark into gridiron ahead of three games, including UMass-Maine on Sat., Nov. 11 at 4 p.m.
BOSTON – The Fenway Park grounds crew wrapped up field preparations for the upcoming Fenway Gridiron Series, which features the Massachusetts Minutemen versus the Maine Black Bears on Sat., Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. The ballpark will host two additional games as part of the Fenway Gridiron Series, including Brown against Dartmouth on Fri., Nov. 10 and Boston College versus Connecticut on Sat., Nov. 18.
Tickets to the University of Massachusetts' football game versus Maine at Fenway Part are available for purchase now. All tickets must be purchased through the Fenway Gridiron Series website. Kickoff from Fenway Park is slated for 4 p.m.

The process of converting the baseball diamond into a football gridiron began on Oct. 23 and continued through Nov. 6. Field goal posts were erected near home plate in foul territory along the third base line and in right field, while both teams will share a sideline in front of the Green Monster.
