Men’s Basketball Adds Series With Georgia State

Minutemen to play home-and-home with Panthers, including 2016 trip to Atlanta
AMHERST, Massachusetts – University of Massachusetts men's basketball finalized its 2016 non-conference schedule with the addition of a Dec. 28 contest at Georgia State. The game is part of a home-and-home series that will bring the Panthers to the Mullins Center on Dec. 16, 2017.
The Minutemen have 13 non-conference games including Georgia State, with eight on campus in the Mullins Center. The team also travels to the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, for a Nov. 20 tilt with Holy Cross and makes trips to Oxford, Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Providence, Rhode Island (Providence).
2016-17 season and group ticket options are available for purchase currently. Plans encompass the non-conference slate as well as the nine-game home Atlantic 10 Conference schedule. Tickets can be purchased by calling the UMass Athletics Ticket Office at 1-866-UMASS-TIX and visiting the Mullins Center Ticket Office (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). UMass Athletics will offer a flexible season ticket plan this campaign. In an effort to assure fans that no game ticket purchased through a seasonal plan will go unused, fans will have the option to exchange tickets to games they cannot attend for ones of equal or lesser value to future home contests. Exchanges must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the contest that cannot be attended and will be awarded for a matching number of seats, with location subject to inventory available at the time of exchange.
