AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass women's cross country team will continue their season this weekend at home for the second straight week. After coming out on top against Maine last week in their season opener, the Minutewomen will face Amherst College, Boston College, Keene State, Stonehill College and Colgate University in a 5K race at the Wysocki Fields in UMass. The women will follow the men's race and will start at 12:00 PM. Parking is available in lot 44 (C1).

Last week the Minutewomen slighted Maine 26-33 due to good group running and a gutsy performance by sophomore, Rachel Hilliard and freshman, Carly Zinner. Hilliard, ran the UMass course in a time of 19:52.18 and placed second overall and led the way for the Minutewomen. Zinner wasn't far behind with a time of 20:01.77. The time placed her second for UMass and fourth overall.
