AMHERST, Mass. - Monday afternoon the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released their annual list of 200 All-Academic Teams in Division I that maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better over the course of the year. UMass was honored along with 10 other Atlantic 10 teams for their academic achievement in 2012. The Minutewomen recorded a GPA of 3.352 and had the fifth best GPA in the A-10.

The University of Oregon women's team was named Scholar Team of the Year. The Ducks posted a 3.66 GPA and add the honor to their National Championship they won last year. The top GPA in the A-10 belonged to Butler University with a 3.612 mark.
