10/24/2011 Due South, Women's XC Off To A10'sThe Minutewomen will travel to Charlotte, N.C. for this year's Atlantic 10 Championships. 10/12/2011 Rothenberg Race On Deck For Women's XCThis will be the second and final trip of the season to the Ocean State for Julie LaFreniere's squad. As a junior in 2012: Did not compete. As a sophomore in 2011: Competed in three meets ... Placed 12th on the team and 40th overall at the Rothenberg Race (10/14) in 20:48.9 ... At the season's opening competition, placed 11th on the team and 50th overall in 20:29.63. Before UMass: Ran cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track at North Andover High School under coaches Rick Dellechiaie and Maggi Murray ... Won eight letters for the Scarlet Knights ... As a senior, was the team MVP for both cross country and outdoor track and was undefeated in the indoor mile (10-0) with a personal record of 5:19 ... Was the cross country team captain and a track-league all-star as a senior ... Helped set school records in the 4X800 meters (9:59) and distance medley relay (13:02) while at North Andover High ...
