As a Sophomore in 1997: One of three volleyball players in the Atlantic 10 to earn both All-Conference and Academic All-Conference honors … named to the Kaepa/AVCA All-District I Team … recorded double-digits in kills in 24 matches and double-digit figures in digs in 17 matches … led the team in kills (441), hitting percentage (.292) and total blocks (100) in addition to being third in digs (293) … scored three top 10 UMass single-season records, ranking fourth in hitting percentage (.292) and fifth in kills (441) and total blocks (100) … named to the All-Tournament Team in each of the three in-season tournaments that UMass participated in (UMass/Reebok Invitational, LMU/Furama Hotel Classic and the Penn State Classic) … ranked sixth in the A-10 in kills per game (3.74) and hitting percentage (.292) … earned Atlantic 10 Player-of-the-Week honors on Sept. 22 after posting 24 kills and 16 digs in two matches … named to the UMass Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during both the Fall of 1997 and Spring of 1998 semesters.
As a Freshman in 1996: Started all 37 matches and 131 games, one of only two players to accomplish the feat … the lone freshman chosen to the All-Atlantic 10 team … set three UMass single-season records, including total blocks (127), block assists (101) and hitting percentage (.308) … also had 26 solo blocks , the third-best mark in school history … posted at least 20 kills four times and had double-digit kills 21 times …three-time A-10 Rookie-of-the-Week (weeks ending 9/6, 9/30 and 10/27) … earned her first A-10 Rookie honor after posting 28 kills, 25 digs, 10 blocks, 10 service aces in four matches at the UMass / Reebok Invitational… claimed her second rookie award and MVP honors at the UMass / Reebok Classic, recording 34 kills, 39 digs and 10 blocks over the four matches … landed her third rookie honor after leading UMass to its win over Rhode Island (10/25)… named to the UMass Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during both the Fall of 1996 and Spring of 1997 semesters.
