NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The men's and women's track and field teams competed in the ECAC/IC4A Championships this past weekend at Yale University in New Haven, Conn. No team score was kept.

Junior Joe McCormack (Wrentham, Mass.) placed 27th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.10. The men's 4x100-meter relay finished with a time of 43.74, good for a 25th-place finish. The men's 4x400-meter relay placed 22nd with a time of 3:18.32. Junior Henry Smith (Ellington, Conn.) placed 20th in the triple jump with a mark of 46' 4-3/4".

Senior Shannon Jackson (Bridgewater, Mass.) placed 16th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.13. Senior Kate Markopoulos (Porter Corner, N.Y.) ran a 11:17.24 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, good for a 27th-place finish. Junior Jen Iasiello (Barrington, R.I.) marked a throw of 152' 4" in the hammer throw, good for a 25th-place finish.

The UMass track and field teams have completed their respective seasons.
