CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The UMass track and field squad closed out their indoor campaign Sunday at the ECAC Championship in Cambridge, Mass. Nalis Mbianda was the only athlete to compete for the Minutewomen on day two of the championship.

The senior thrower threw in an indoor meet for the final time in her collegiate career. Mbianda threw 43-feet, 7-inches in the shot put and placed 16th overall in the meet.

The next time the Minutewomen compete will be April 6 at the AIC Invitational in the outdoor season opener. Along with the outdoor campaign comes two home events for UMass, one April 13, the other April 27. Both will be hosted at the UMass Track and Field Complex with start times set for 11:30 A.M.
