BOSTON, Mass.- The University of Massachusetts women's track team placed ninth out of thirteen teams with 15.5 points at the Adidas Boston Classic held at the Reggie Lewis Center on January 30.

Junior Christina Huff (Springfield, Mass.) placed seventh in the 55-meter dash with a clocking of 7.25. She clocked a 25.62 in the 200-meter dash, good for a sixth place finish. Sophomore Elisabeth Budd (Springfield, Mass.) placed second in the 500-meter run with a time of 1:17.72. Sophomore Ashley Creel (Sandwich, Mass.) sixth in the high jump with a mark of 5' 2-1/4".

UMass women's track returns to action next Saturday, February 7 with the Rhode Island Mega Meet.
