UMass had the most student-athletes in the league attain a 3.5 GPA or higher for spring semester
On Saturday, April 20 UMass will compete at Hart Track in Worcester, Mass. for the Holy Cross Invitational beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The Minutewomen open up competition Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M.
Saturday, April 6 the Minutewomen will travel to AIC for their outdoor season opener in Springfield, Mass.
This is the Minutewomen's final opportunity to qualify for the Indoor NCAA Championship.
As a junior in 2013:Outdoor: Did not compete. Indoor: Ran in three events in two meets before going down with an injury ending her season ... Competed in the 60 and 200 meter dash while also running in the 4x400 meter relay ... Ran both of her best times of the season during the Sorlien Invitational, completing the 60 meter dash in just 7.98-seconds and finishing the 200 meter dash in 26.26-seconds (1/19).
As a sophomore in 2012: Outdoor: Competed in all six meets of the season, running in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and the 4x100 meter relay ... Finished the New England Championships with a time of 12.58 in the 100 meter run, 25.31 in the 200 meter dash and finished eighth in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 48.52 (5/11) ... Competed in the 200 meter dash, finished the 100 meter dash at 12.50 and placed seventh in the 4x100 meter relay, crossing the finish line at 48.30 at the A-10 Championships (5/5) ... Placed third at the Pre-Conference Meet in the 100 meter dash with a season best time of 12.32 and also finished the 200 meter dash third at 25.91 (4/28) ... Crossed the finish line at 12.59 and placed fourth in the 100 meter dash while finishing third in the 4x100 meter relay at the Holy Cross Invitational (4/21) ... Placed fourth in the 4x100 meter relay at 48.96 in the UMass Invitational (4/14) ... Finished third in the 4x100 meter relay at the AIC Invitational (4/7). Indoor: Ran in seven meets, running in the 55, 60, and the 200 meter dash ... Competed in the 60 and 200 meter dash at the New England Championships ... Finished fifth in the GoRhody Invitational in the 60 meter dash and third in the 200 meter dash (1/20) ... Placed fourth in the 200 meter dash at the Sorlein Invitational (1/14).
As a freshman in 2011: Outdoor: Qualified for New Englands in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash at the A-10 championship meet ... Finished in 13th place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.73, her fastest of the season, at NECs. Indoor: Ran the 55 meter dash, 60 meter dash, and 200 meter dash ... Went to the New England Championship meet where she finished in 27th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.42, her best time of the season in the event.
Before UMass: A 2010 graduate of Andover High School where she was a three-year letterwinner under coach Peter Comeau... Helped the Warriors to an undefeated 2010 season en route to the state championship title...Owns three high school records (100 meters, 4X200 meters (indoor), 4X200 meters (outdoor)...Was an MVC All-Conference champion as a junior and senior...Received high academic honors during all four years at Andover High...Also was the captain of both the cheerleading and gymnastics teams that won conference titles.
