The University of Massachusetts women's tennis team dropped to Xavier in a Friday night match, 4-0. After a successful morning victory over Dayton, the sixth seeded Minutewomen (10-14) fell out of the Atlantic-10 Championships main draw to the third seeded, Xavier Musketeers. The Musketeers won two of the three doubles matches and three of the singles matches to secure the 4-0 win. The Minutewomen were two points away from a win at No. 1 doubles and were in the middle of three very competitive singles matches when play was suspended.
