AMHERST, Mass. - After a week where she went 3-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles, sophomore Sonia Bokhari was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Tennis Performer of the Week. It marks the first time this season that Bokhari has received the award. The only other UMass athlete to garner the award this season was Yuliana Motyl who was given the honors on Monday, Mar. 5. UMass is currently awaiting the announcement of the seedings for the Atlantic 10 Championships on April 20.

Last week, Bokhari posted three No. 2 singles wins against Bryant, Albany and Quinnipiac. With the wins, she improved to 13-7 in dual matches and 17-12 overall. Bokhari has won her last eight singles matches and has added a total of seven dual match doubles victories from various pairings this season.
