HANOVER, N.H. - The UMass women's tennis team finalized competition at the Big Green Invitational this past Sunday at Dartmouth. On day three of the tournament, the Minutewomen tallied three singles wins and two doubles wins. The invite marked the last tournament of the fall season for UMass as the team will be back on the courts in late January.

Winning her first match of the tournament on day three was Julia Comas, who defeated Diamond Adams from St. John's University (SJU), 6-2, 6-1. Sonia Bokhari and Chanel Glasper also recorded wins in the singles draw. Bokhari defeated Joanna Zwirbulis (SJU) by a score of 6-2, 6-1. Glasper took down Lubov Pogribnyak (SJU) in two sets, 6-4, 6-1.

On the doubles side, Jessica Podlofsky and Chanel Glasper notched an 8-4 victory over Nakita Austin and Ece Firat from St. John's. Gianna Francis and Bokhari also added a doubles victory by defeating the St. John's pairing of Becker and Dittmer, 8-6.

The Minutewomen will be back in action on January 28 when the team will take on Boston College at the Bay Road Tennis Club.
