STORRS, Conn. - The UMass women's tennis team won its final dual match of the fall season in convincing fashion with a 7-0 win at UConn on Wednesday afternoon. The Minutewomen won all three doubles matches and won five of six in singles play with straight sets. UMass will return to action on Nov. 2-4 at the Big Green Invitational hosted by Dartmouth.

In doubles action, the pairs of Yuliana Motyl/Chantal Swiszcz (8-5), Sonia Bokhari/Chanel Glasper (8-4) and Jessica Podlofsky/Arielle Griffin (8-2) cruised through the Huskies. Motyl and Swiszcz improve to 7-2 in the fall season and have now won six straight No. 1 doubles matches.

Motyl, Bokhari, Podlofsky, Glasper and Jocelyn Providence each won their singles matches in straight sets.

In No. 4 singles, Griffin lost the first set 3-6, but rallied to win the second (6-3) and forth sets (10-4).
