MONROEVILLE, Pa. - The sixth seeded UMass women's tennis team opened play in the Atlantic 10 Championships on Friday afternoon with a 5-0 win over Dayton. With the win, the Minutewomen are set to face third seeded Xavier, later today at 6 p.m. UMass earned the doubles point then took singles Nos. 1-4 for the victory. The team was also leading at Nos. 5 and 6, but the matches did not finish due to the outcome being decided.
