BOCA RATON, Fla. - The University of Massachusetts women's tennis team (5-10, 2-0 A-10) wrapped up its Florida roadtrip yesterday with a 7-2 loss at Lynn University. Co-captain senior Susan Hyams (Cincinnati, Ohio) won both her singles and doubles matches to lead the Minutewomen.

Hyams and partner co-captain junior Sasha Edelstein (Haifa, Israel) won the #3 doubles match, 8-3 but it was not enough to earn UMass the doubles point, as Lynn took the other two matches. In singles play, Hyams was the only Massachusetts winner, as she defeated Monse Palacios i nthe #6 match, 6-1, 7-5.

The Minutewomen will be back in action Wednesday, March 31, as they travel to Kingston, R.I. for a 2:30 p.m. matchup with the Rams of the University of Rhode Island.
