DIXON ON HODGSON: "A player who is going to play in that 4, 5, or 6 [singles] range. She has improved a lot from last year. She's got a big serve, heavy ground strokes, and she can either hit flat or with spin. She's become quite a good doubles player. Her improvement is both in her mental play and in her footwork. Tanisha is willing to run down every ball."

As a senior(2010-2011): Won 6-0, 5-4 at number 6 singles in the A10 Championship against Charlotte(4/10) ... Victorious in her doubles match against Albany with Candynce Boney, 8-4 (3/5) ... Defeated Dartmouth with Candynce Boney in her doubles match 8-1 (2/24) ... Paired with Jessica Podlofsky to win in doubles 8-6 at Rhode Island (10/13) ... Teamed up with Chantal Swiszcz to reach the final round of play in EFFORT Doubles at the West Point Eastern Invitational (9/26) ...

As a junior(2009-2010): Finished the year with a 6-7 overall singles record, while also going 4-2 at No. 2 singles ... Went 1-1 at No. 3 singles at the 2010 A-10 tournament ... Teamed up with Julia Comas for an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles against Quinnipiac (4/12) ... Took an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles and a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles at Sacred Heart (4/1) ... AS A SOPHOMORE (FALL 2008): Finished the fall season with a 5-3 singles record and 4-0 doubles mark ... Had a highly successful weekend (2-1 in singles, 3-0 in doubles) at the Big Green Invitational (11/7-11/9) ... With Laura Danai, topped opponents from Syracuse, Akron, and Boston University by final scores of 8-3, 8-3, and 9-8 (10) ... Staged a hard-fought comeback singles win over Katlyn Haycock (Syracuse) on Day One, 4-6, 6-2, 10-4 then won final match, 6-4, 7-6, over an opponent from Boston University ... Paired with Danai to win No. 2 doubles during UConn dual match (10/15), 8-6 ... After receiving a bye into the Round of 16 of third singles at the Eastern Collegiate Invitational (9/28), Hodgson lost to Kristen Liu (Fairfield) in a hard-fought match, 7-5, 7-6 (4) ... Went on to easily win three matches in the consolation bracket to win the No. 3 singles consolation championship. AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007-08: Finished the year with 7-21 singles mark and 7-16 doubles record ... Teamed with Kristin DiPiero to top Xavier at No. 2 doubles, 8-4, in the A-10 semifinals on 4/19 ...
