Sophomore posts 4-1 singles record during four day tournament
The Minutewomen will compete in the annual regionals tournament this week.

The Minutewomen battled in late singles contests to secure their first dual match victory of the season.
The UMass tennis team took home multiple doubles and singles victories over the weekend.
As a Freshman (2013-2014): Woosley played in 19 singles and doubles matches in her first season as a Minutewoman ... The rookie tallied 10 singles victories and nine doubles wins over the course of the season ... When paired alongside Yuliana Motyl, the pair took home seven victories including one 8-0 shutout over Saint Joseph's (4/4) ... The tandem also recorded six straight wins in the second half of the season and seven victories in their last nine games. Spring: Downed Dayton in both singles and doubles play, taking home a 6-0, 6-1 singles win and 8-1 doubles victory (4/24) ... Clinched four consecutive wins in straight sets in the final singles matches of the spring season including a 6-3, 6-0 victory over conference rival Rhode Island (4/19) ... Secured a 6-2, 6-2 win against Sacred Heart at home (4/12) ... In doubles action, the freshman contributed a 8-6 win on the road against Georgia Southern, paired with Yuliana Motyl (3/20) ... Tabbed her first win of the spring season over Bryant with a score of 6-3, 6-1 in singles play, and a 6-0 doubles sweep alongside Chanel Glasper (2/9). Fall: Appeared in four singles and three doubles matches in the fall season ... Won her first collegiate singles and doubles match against Providence (8/28).
Before UMass: Played tennis for the Talbot Heath School for Girls in Bournemouth, England ... Ranked top ten for U18 players in the UK ... Part of the regional and national championship tennis team in 2012.
