Swimming & Diving Teams Hold Annual Banquet

The UMass men's and women's swimming and diving teams celebrated their 2011-12 seasons this week with the annual banquet and awards night at the Campus Center. The men won their 14th Atlantic 10 Championship and sixth in a row, and the women finished fourth in the conference. MORE

Four Swim And Divers Named A-10 Academic All-Conference

Junior Alex Merkulov of the men's swimming and diving team is one of only two returnees to the 2012 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Academic All-Conference team, as announced on Wednesday. Michaela Butler Takes Eleventh And Twelfth At NCAA Zone A Championship

UMass diver Michaela Butler placed eleventh in the three-meter dive and twelfth in the one-meter dive in the NCAA Zone A Diving Championship hosted by the University of Buffalo this past weekend. In the three-meter dive she finished with a score of 534.60, while scoring 479.85 in the one-meter dive. MORE

Minutewomen Come In Fourth At Atlantic 10 Championship

The UMass women's swimming and diving team captured fourth place at the Atlantic 10 Championship from Buffalo, N.Y., Saturday night. The Minutewomen totaled 434 points, coming in behind the champion Richmond (751), Fordham (557), La Salle (476). Coming in behind the women were Rhode Island (257), Duquesne (256), St. Bonaventure (249.5), Xavier (245), George Washington (233.5), Saint Louis (174). MORE

Going into the last day of the Atlantic 10 Championship from Buffalo, N.Y. the UMass women's swimming and diving team sits in fourth place, totaling 267 points. Richmond still leads the pack with 516 points, followed by Fordham (358.5), La Salle (311), UMass (267), Duquesne (185), Rhode Island (182), St. Bonaventure (169), Xavier (165), George Washington (163.5) and Saint Louis (118).
