Massachusetts women's swimmers Zoe Judd and Meriza Werenski were named the Atlantic 10 swimmer and rookie of the week on Tuesday. Werenski was also named the Co-UMass Athlete of the Week.

Judd, a junior from Acton, Mass., was a part of five first-place finishes this past weekend as the Minutewomen defeated Binghamton, 175-133. Judd recorded individual victories in the 50-yd freestyle (24.35), the 200-yd freestyle (1:52.15) and the 200-yd backstroke (2:05.05) along with being part of victories in the 200-yd medley relay and the 400-yd freestyle relay.

Werenski posted the fastest time in three individual races and was a part of two relays that touched first in a 175-133 victory over Binghamton. The freshman from South Hadley, Mass., won both the 100-yd breaststroke (1:04.78) and the 200-yd breaststroke (2:19.19) along with the 400-yd individual medley (4:24.78). Her performance in the 200-yd breast set a new pool record while her time in the 400-yd IM set a new school and pool record. Werenski now has won gold in eight of her nine individual events as a college swimmer.
