AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass women's swimming and diving team has been named a 2012 College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team. With a collective grade-point average of 3.12, the Minutewomen were one of nine Atlantic 10 squads to make the list with GPAs of 3.0 and higher in the 2011-12 academic year.

Thirteen Minutewomen were honored for their work in the classroom earlier this summer as members of the Spring 2012 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll with grade-point averages of 3.5 or better. Among those was rising senior Molly Elkins, who was an Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference selection in 2011-12.
