Four Win A-10 Titles On Day Two

BUFFALO, N.Y.-After the second day of competition at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships, the Minutemen remained in second place while the women's team moved up to fourth place.

St. Bonaventure still leads the men's competition with 520.5 points, topping UMass' 509 points. Richmond remained in first place on the women's side with 563 points.

The Minutemen were led by three first-place finishes on Friday. Senior Tommy Keane (Melrose, Mass.) won gold in the 400-yard IM at 4:02. 97, while senior Ryan Zaucha (Auburn, Calif.) placed first in the 100-yard backstroke at 51.79 and junior Conner Townsend (Memphis, Tenn.) won the 100-yard butterfly at 50.60.

Senior Kate Allery (South Hadley, Mass.) tallied a first place finish for the Minutewomen, claiming gold in the six dive 1-meter with 270.40 points.

The A-10 meet will conclude Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y. with prelims starting at 10:30 a.m. and the finals starting at 6:30 p.m. The men's team will be vying for its third-straight A-10 crown.
