Results

AMHERST, Mass. -

Day one of the Atlantic 10 Championship from Buffalo, N.Y. finished up with the Minutewomen in a three-way tie for sixth place with a total of 46 points. After only two events the leaders in a very tight race are Richmond and Fordham with 74 points, followed by La Salle (60), Rhode Island (56), St. Bonaventure (52), Xavier (46), UMass (46), Duquesne (46), George Washington (42) and Saint Louis (40).

The women competed in in only the 800-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard medley relay during day one.

In the 800-yard freestyle relay the team of Amina Meho, Molly Smyth, Anna Cavanaugh and Zoe Judd set a school record with a time of 7:29.06, breaking the previous record they set earlier this year.

In the 200-yard medley relay Kelsey Hinrichs, Katie Arnott, Kaitlyn McKenna and Hannah Markey finished with a time of 1:47.12 coming in tenth place.

Day two kicks off at 10:30 am with prelims with the finals starting up at 6:30 pm.
