Women's Swm Finishes In Second At Dartmouth Invite

AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass women's swimming and diving team finished second in the Dartmouth Invitational this weekend. The Minutewomen finished with 1087 points, coming in behind the host Dartmouth Big Green (1671) and ahead of Bryant (460). The women used an all around team effort, getting contributions from nearly every team member.
The women were once again led by freshman Zoe Judd who finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.97. She was also able to finish second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.44 and third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.24. Amina Meho just finished ahead of Judd in the 50 free in second place with a time of 24.18. She was also able to take fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (53.16) and fifth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.95.
Katie Arnott had a great two days in the pool placing first in the 200-yard breaststroke touching the wall with a time of 2:26.21. She was also able to grab second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.50 and fifth in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:11.62.
Liz Sullivan was another Minutewomen to have a strong performance taking fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.84) and third in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.92).
Michaela Butler had another standout weekend, sweeping both the one and three-meter diving events. She finished with 268.27 points in the one-meter and 275.47 in the three-meter.
The Minutewomen will be back in Joseph Rogers Pool Saturday Feb. 4 as they welcome A-10 rival Fordham for senior day. The meet is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm and will be aired on CBS 3 Now and UMass All Access.
