02/24/2013 Women's Swimming Finishes Second At Atlantic 10 ChampionshipsFirst second-place finish for the Minutewomen since 2007. 02/02/2013 UMass Falls To Fordham In Preview Of A-10'sThe Minutewomen will face the Rams again at the Atlantic 10 Championships in just under three weeks. 2012-13 (Freshman): Competed in the 1650 Freestyle (17:14.22) and finished second in the 800 Freestyle Relay (7:22.47) at the Upper Valley Invitational (2/20-23) ... Placed first in the 1000 Freestyle (10:32.97), second in the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:45.30), and competed in the 100 Freestyle (56.69) at Fordham (2/2) ... At the Upper Valley Invitational (1/25-26), swam in the 500 Freestyle (5:15.38), 200 Freestyle (1:58.14), and 1650 Freestyle (17:50.38) ... Finished second in the 1000 Freestyle (10:35.48), third in the 200 IM (2:17.24), and fourth in the 200 Breaststroke (2:13.57) against Bryant (1/19) ... Took second in the 1000 Freestyle (10:41.28) and fifth in the 500 Freestyle (5:14.47) in addition to competing in the 100 Freestyle (56.49) at Northeastern (12/1) ... Took part in the 500 Freestyle (5:05.18), 1650 freestyle (17:34.54), 200 Freestyle (1:55.67), and 200 Backstroke (2:10.89) at the Terrier Invitational (11/16-18) ... Came in third in the 1000 Freestyle (10:40.89), fourth in the 500 Freestyle (5:13.97), and sixth in the 200 IM (2:18.13) at Brown (11/10) ... Came away with a first place finish in the 1000 Freestyle (10:40.63) and second place finish in the 500 Freestyle (5:10.85) as well as participating in the 200 Freestyle (1:59.14) and 200 Backstroke (2:13.08) at Binghamton (11/3) ... Finished second in the 1000 Freestyle (10:38.29) and sixth in the 500 Freestyle (5:19.09) and 200 Freestyle (1:59.95) versus Army (10/19) ...
