General: Named team's Most Improved Swimmer following 2004-05 season.

2006-07 (Junior): At the Terrier Invitational (11/17) swam her season best time in the 1650 free (19:23.37) ... against Boston University (11/11), poster her top time in the 1000 free (11:41.04).

2005-06 (Sophomore): Swam mostly in the distance freestyle events ... posted her top times of 11:34.36 in the 1,000 free and 5:38.65 in the 500 free against Boston College (1/21).

2004-05 (Freshman): Earned the team's Most Improved Swimmer award following the season ... recorded her fastest time of the season in 500-yard freestyle (5:28.20) at the Nutmeg Invitational (12/5) ... finished fourth against Fordham (1/29) in the 500-yard free (5:29.54) and third in 1,000-yard free with a season-best time of 11:15.16 ... at Rhode Island Invitational (1/15), placed 11th in 500-yard free (5:30.03) ... against New Hampshire (11/20) finished sixth in the 1,000-yard free (11:20.53).

Before UMass: Swam five seasons for Hopkinton under Bryan King and three seasons for the Shawmut Aquatic Club under Kathy White ... finished third in the MIAA Division III 500-yard freestyle and eighth in the 200-yard freestyle ... named captain her senior season ... also as a senior earned team MVP and coaches award honors for Hopkinton ... in 2001-02 was given the coaches award for the Shawmut Aquatic Club.

Personal: Jackie J. Elwell ... daughter of Linda and James Elwell ... has three siblings: Kyle, Kurtis, and Jillian ... born on June 8, 1985 in Worcester, Mass. ... majoring in public health science.
