UMass Dedicates Sortino Field

More than 70 former players were on hand as the University of Massachusetts formally dedicated the playing surface at the UMass Softball Complex 'Sortino Field.' in honor of longtime coach Elaine Sortino. Sortino delivered a message of perseverance and hard work to her team and players that allowed her to have "the best job in the world."
The group played their annual alumni game following pictures in front of the sign on the scoreboard. Check back in a bit for a gallery of the ceremony.
