AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass women's soccer team will hold its second annual golf outing and dinner on Friday, Aug. 17, at the Westover Golf Course in Granby, Mass. The event kicks off a weekend that will culminate with the Minutewomen's season opener against national power UCLA on Sunday, Aug. 19, on Rudd Field at 1 p.m.

Registration for the golf outing will begin at 11:15 a.m., followed by photos at noon and a shotgun start, bramble format, at 12:30 p.m. The dinner will take place later that evening at 6 p.m.

Entry fee is $150 per-golfer and includes access to driving range, 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, a UMass shirt and dinner. Golfers are eligible to win a variety of special awards, including contests for longest drive and closest to the pin.

Individuals who do not wish to golf, but would like to attend the dinner may do so for the cost of $40.
