DAYTON, Ohio - The UMass women's soccer team was defeated by nationally-ranked Dayton on Friday in Ohio, 4-0. The Flyers extended their winning streak to 13 games in a row, second longest in the nation with the win.

The Minutewomen fell to 4-8 overall, 2-4 in the Atlantic 10. First-place Dayton is now 13-1 overall and 6-0 in the league. They are ranked No. 28 by Soccer Buzz this week.

Dayton scored two goals in each half with a pair coming from Reba Sedalcek early in the second half just two minutes apart to make it 4-0.

Tesia Kozlowski and Katie Lowstuter scored in the first half.

UMass was outshot 29-7. Goalkeeper Kristin Walker (Lincoln Park, N.J.), the reigning A-10 Rookie of the Week, made a career-high 10 saves.

UMass stays in Ohio to play Xavier on Sunday at 1 p.m.
