PALMER, Mass. - Senior Kelly Nigh (Seattle, Wash.) made four saves as the University of Massachusetts women's soccer team and Holy Cross played to a 0-0 tie tonight in an exhibition game at Legion Field.

On the other side, Holy Cross goalkeeper Mary Dennehy notched seven saves of her own. UMass out-shot the Crusdaers, 26-11. Corner kicks were even at three per team.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kristen Rutland (Fayetteville, Ga.) saw 13 minutes of play as well for the Minutewomen, making one save.

The Minutewomen will open up the regular season on Saturday, August 30, with a 7:00 p.m. game against Quinnipiac at Agawam High School.
