Assistant Coach

Rachel LeDuc returns to her alma mater for her first year as an assistant coach, after working last year as a personal trainer. LeDuc ended her four-year UMass career as the leading goal and point scorer in school history and with a reputation for being at her peak in clutch situations. Originally a walk-on, LeDuc set then-school records for goals (18) and points (46) during a senior year where she solidified her place with the all-time UMass greats.

A 1995 All-America selection, LeDuc was also the MVP of the Atlantic 10 Championship that year, netting both goals in a 2-0 semifinal win over George Washington and adding two goals and an assist during a 6-0 championship game rout of Xavier. LeDuc was also a member of the 1993 and 1995 All-Atlantic 10 teams.

LeDuc currently stands second on the school's career goal (35) and point (95) charts, while ranking fourth with 25 career assists. She is the school's single-season record holder in goals (18, 1995) and points (46, in 1995), while also sitting in a tie for both single-season (8 in 1995) and career (12) game-winning goals.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management in May of 1996, LeDuc worked for a year as a personal trainer, running her own private practice in South Carolina. During last year, LeDuc earned her professional certification from both the International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) and the State of South Carolina.

LeDuc is single and presently resides in Longmeadow, Mass.
