The 2012-13 Minutewomen
• This year's squad is returning 34 athletes from last season and has added 26 including two transfers.
• The junior class boasts 20 returners while four members of the Class of 2013 will compete this season.
Kendall Bennett is returning as a graduate student and will be seen in the Varsity Eight this fall season.

The 2012 Fall Schedule
• Selected members of the team will start off the season at the Head of the Oklahoma, a new addition to the UMass schedule. This will be the first time the Minutewomen compete in the Oklahoma City, Okla. event.
• The Head of the Housatonic will be the first regatta the full team participates in. The Minutewomen make the Housatonic an annual affair, and last year the Novice 8+ took second place and took first place in the double.
• The Head of the Charles is the Minutewomen's third race of the season where members of the team will compete, traditionally in the 8+, 4+, 2X, and 1X. Last year the V8+ finished in ninth place out of 28 and the V4+ finished in tenth out of 20.
• The Head of the Fish will be the last race for the full squad. Last year the Minutewomen took home four gold medals in the double, the lightweight four, the mixed eight and the novice four.
• The novice rowers will race in the Green Monster and at the Foot of the Charles. Last year the Novice 8+ took eighth at the Foot of the Charles.

The 2012 Spring Season
• Last season the Varsity Four was the boat to beat for the Minutewomen. The lineup consisted of current rowers Arielle Gillette, Adrienne Breef-Pilz, Hannah Monahan, coxswain Heather Pekarovich and former rower Emily Sgarlat. In total the boat won six gold medals and two silver medals in eight races.
• The Junior Varsity Eight also had a good season, finishing strong with a win at the Knecht Cup in the Petite Final and a second place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship Regatta.
• UMass was well represented at the Dad Vail Regatta, taking two first place finishes and one second place finish for its three boats entered. The single and the pair were the boats that came out on top, and the second single boat took second.
